When we showed our first version to players, they liked it but didn't understand it. So we started to rework our complete Interface (UI/UX), we did a few passes until we ended up with our 2nd version. Which got positive feedback for the readability but negative, that it just looked read Hearthstone from a far. So half a year later I decided to try to bring in our own style and researched stylized Artstyle option's. When I came arround that awesome League of Legend's styleguide on how to set values and saturation to give the player clear readability on what's important. I then made a stylguide on my own and started to experiment, until I came up with what we have now have.
All in all this was a realy challanging project and forced me to think about UI/UX in a new way, which was great.
First Version UI Conecpt was done by Felix Simon
Manuel Fritz and Robin Fröhlich helped with 3D assets for Version one, which I later partialy reused/updated.
